Today I've been very lucky to go to Oxford. It's about an hour from place I live in right now, so I just had an opportunity to visit this lovely town. It wasn't my first visit there, though. Actually it was my third. Still I enjoyed it very much and want to come back.
I know I was one of them, but... There were so many tourists! I just couldn't believed in it. So I decided to go off the beaten track and get lost. Unfortunately I'm unable to get lost, so I was just walking around the town with my best friend, we had a lot of fun and visited pretty places, which we wouldn't normally. There's a thing about old towns- they're meant to be explored. Well, I love it. I enjoy discovering.
This collage (one of 38) would probably be just another beautiful, hidden building. Yet the most special thing in this picture isn't it, but... grass! Why? Since 2 weeks there have been actually no rain and the temperatures are around 30 every day, so the plants are simply dying. And... hey look! There's a very very green, perfectly cut green grass. How is it possible? We were very surprised that somebody cares about grass that much, but it looks really well. Enjoy the green-grass pictures.
One of the most interesting places we found, was a hidden bakery. It wasn't a typical bakery, though. There were sold amazing hand-made cakes and cupcakes for different occasions. Their workshop was in the same place as the shop, so you could see all the process of preparing it. They didn't only look good, but we tried a cupcake and (although it was totally sweet) it was perfect! If we didn't decide to go alternative way, we wouldn't find this magic place, so it's another improvement that it's worth it.
